The first of the CIVIL WAR stories has been submitted by Mr. Neil Macdonald. It is about two brothers from Monroe, Michigan in the Civil War. Thomas W. Goodenough and George W. Brown who served together in the 7th Michigan Infantry. Included is an excerpt from the diary of one brother describing his thoughts while serving picket duty during the winter of 1862, providing a living glimpse of the past.
Each submission will have its own individual Post as well as added to the CIVIL WAR STORIES Page.
